APAO 2019 (The 34th Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress), the largest congress on Ophthalmology in Asia-Pacific, held earlier on March 6th – 9th, 2019 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, was ended successfully. N.C.C. International Events (NCCIE) was honorably assigned by Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) and The Royal College of Ophthalmologists of Thailand (RCOPT) to manage and organize the whole congress. There were more than 6,600 participants, including exhibitors from over 120 pharmaceuticals and medical-device companies.
The congress is about bringing together the latest developments in Ophthalmology and visual sciences with a comprehensive scientific program; feature highly respected, internationally renowned speakers who will share their experiences and knowledges; showcasing significant cutting-edge advancements that will impact and shape the future of Ophthalmology, showcase the most important and cutting-edge clinical and research studies and outline new trends in the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic disease; provide a platform for fruitful scientific exchange, presentation of high-quality, original scientific studies and research; promote the exchange of expertise and to disseminate the most updated clinical practice and international gold standards; give delegates an opportunity to network, make and renew friendships.
The highlight of the conference included interesting seminar topics by top-notch lecturers expertized in Ophthalmology from Thailand and other countries across the world. There were many research exhibitions and presentations on new technologies, moreover APAO Photo Contest was firstly held in the congress.
The congress was highly appreciated by participants during those four days, creating such a great pride to NCCIE as the organizer that stood behind the management with devotion and determination to provide full services to all addressees through professional teams and world class standards.
