The 3rd Princess Maha Chakri Award Foundation successfully held both of onsite and online conference in 2020

With success of the 3rd Princess Maha Chakri Award Forum – 3rd PMCA FORUM was successfully held during October 22-23, 2020, Bangkok, Thailand and organized in a blended format. The Opening Ceremony is on-site which there were Ambassadors from ASEAN and Timor-Leste to Thailand, governors from the 77 provinces of Thailand, committees of the PMCA Foundation and local and international representatives from educational organizations as on-site audiences while all other sessions were online.

 

Not only the on-site audiences, but also the audience who joining in via Zoom who are the Thai Ambassadors from 10Embassies of ASEAN and Timor-Leste, High Officials from the Ministry of Education of 10 countries, and the 2019 PMCA Awardees attended this event together with more than 2,087 and Thai participants registers into the Conference proves that the 3rd PMCA FORUM is well guaranteed and acknowledged this year.

 

Despites the challenges of COVID-19, the Foundation keeps the 11 outstanding 2019 PMCA awardees connected through number of Online Conferences to share their experiences and teaching methods in Show & Share Sessions, Also, PMCA Foundation provided opportunities for them to share how they cope with COVID-19 and prepare for re-opening theirs schools, so that they can learn from each other.

 

This year’s Forum, we involve Youth from 7 countries who are the students of the Awardees from Southeast Asia in the Youth Forum on “My School and COVID-19”.  These youths reveal many interesting perspectives on how COVID-19 affects them and how their teachers help them to get through the difficult time.

 

Last but not least, there are more 4 invited speakers on topics of “New Learning Technology” and “Possible Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Thai Students’ Achievement” with “Teachers’ and Students’ Perceptions on Distance/Online Learning during COVID-19 Pandemic” presented by 2017 PMCA Recipients from Vietnam and Brunei Darussalam.
